Suzuki eVitara Showcased Ahead of NADA Auto Show 2025

CG | Motocorp, the authorized distributor of Suzuki vehicles in Nepal, has officially showcased the all-electric Suzuki eVitara ahead of its public unveiling at the upcoming NADA Auto Show 2025. This marks Suzuki’s first step into Nepal’s all-electric SUV segment, a space rapidly filling up with competitors.

The eVitara will be offered in two battery options in India, though the company has yet to confirm which configuration will be introduced in Nepal.

The first setup pairs a 49 kWh battery with a front-mounted motor producing 144 hp and 189 Nm of torque. The second, more powerful version features a 61 kWh battery delivering 174 hp while retaining the same torque, and is expected to provide a real-world range of over 500 km (MIDC).

For those seeking added capability, Suzuki can also offer an all-wheel-drive (AWD) variant. This model adds a 65hp rear motor, pushing combined output to 184hp and 300 Nm of torque. 

Inside, the eVitara’s cabin focuses on modern functionality and comfort. Highlights include a twin-deck floating center console, ambient lighting, soft-touch materials, a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a 10.1-inch digital instrument cluster.

Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, paired with a premium Harman audio system. Comfort features such as ventilated front seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and reclining/sliding rear seats with a 40:20:40 split.

On the safety front, the eVitara doesn’t hold back. Built with over 50% high-tensile steel, it comes with seven airbags(including a driver’s knee airbag) and Level 2 ADAS features like lane assist and autonomous emergency braking. Standard kit includes all-wheel disc brakes, electronic parking brake (EPB), tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and an emergency call system (e-Call).

Measuring 4,275 mm long, 1,800 mm wide, 1,640 mm tall, and riding on a 2,700 mm wheelbase, the eVitara slots firmly into the midsize SUV category. It will take on rivals such as the Hyundai Creta EV, Tata Curvv EV, and Mahindra BE 6 in Nepal’s fast-growing electric SUV market.
